Ms Makala Castelli

Makala is a patient experience advocate and strategic health consumer. She uses her own lived experience and that of her community to shape her advocacy work – driving change in survivorship, supportive care and promoting patient leadership. Makala believes in the power of digital to improve patient experiences and is the founder of Oncana, a personalised supportive care platform for people living with and beyond cancer. She also holds a number of advisory, governance and executive committee roles across the public, private health and academic sectors.
